In winter 2013, the Association for Public Art (aPA) presented #LOVEpublicart: a photo contest and crowdsourcing social media project that used YOUR photo submissions. Participants were asked to submit their best pics of Robert Indiana’s LOVE sculpture using #LOVEpublicart on social media.

On June 4, 2009, a diverse group of neighbors, community leaders, and friends of the Art Association and Project H.O.M.E. came together to celebrate the dedication of “Common Ground,” the Art Association’s newest public art project commissioned through the “New•Land•Marks” program.
Nearly 200 members and guests came to meet renowned artist Mark di Suvero and welcome his sculpture to Philadelphia at the Fairmount Park Art Association’s dedication for Iroquois and 135th Annual Meeting on June 27, 2007.
