The Fairmount Park Art Association’s Executive Director, Penny Balkin Bach, has been named one of Philadelphia’s 76 Creative Connectors by Leadership Philadelphia and WHYY/NewsWorks. The leaders were identified through an online survey as “the people most cited by their peers for using art, culture, and design to build community and economic vitality.”
Leadership Philadelphia began the connectors project in 2005 as a way to recognize and encourage leadership in the region. Multimedia profiles of all 76 Creative Connectors can be found on WHYY’s NewsWorks site.
